I’ve been playing with geeky stuff since 1965. I’m a former research scientist and currently work as a Systems Engineer at Connective Computing, Inc. Computer security and cryptography fascinate me and I’ve helped many a user develop safer computing practices.

I’m a professional writer and blogger and, as you can see from the photo, I’m also a musician. I write songs and have had a couple of them released commercially. You can hear some of them at my personal website. My music blog is called The Singing Songwriter.
